Has anyone seen the PvP article? If so did you spot this blaring error?

their attack speed reduction/buff stacking has been flawed since time immemorial.


i was bored and tried to think...

say you do 1 swing per 1 second. if you attack 33% faster that means you do


1 swing/sec + (1 swing/sec * 0.33) =

1.33 swings/sec while on frenzy then you got hexed by reckless haste +25% faster

since it caps at 33% then +25% will get no effect

now you got hexed by shadow of fear and its 50% slower

1.33 swings/sec - (1.33 swings/sec *.50) = 0.665 swings/sec

now get the 25% speed from the reckless haste since attack speed hasnt reached cap.

0.665 swings/sec + (0.665 swings/sec * 0.25) = 0.831 swings/sec


now lets compare us to a.nets kindergarten math

33% + 25% - 50% = 8%

1 swing/sec + (1 swing/sec * 0.08) = 1.08 swings/sec

Lol after reading the rest of that article look at this.

Theres a + sign in front of your 8. 8% faster would be correct, not 8% slower. Probably a typo no biggie.

Anet changed the article so that it is actually right now. And if they were just mentioning some they would have. Notice how they added the skill? Because they wanted to name them all. They removed the slower to faster, and changed the paragraph about exhaustion so that it actually reflects what the game is. The typo may have been a no biggie but the exhaustion explanation was just wrong.
